Tutorial to create user in IBM Maximo Apps.
Task : Create a Service Request Workflow Using Maximo Ver6.1 as show in the following picture.

Solution :
For the purpose of this tutorial, i'm using the setup as the following:
Hardaware :
1) IBM Server.
2) Laptop Dell Vostrp 1400. (you can see the spec
here.)
Software :
1) IBM server fully installed with windows server 2003 sp3.
2) VMware
3) ISO Image full setup with Maximo 6.1.
This solution contains 2 steps:
Step 1 - Create Persons account.
Step 2 - Create User account.

Step 1 - Create Persons account.
1) Go to http://Your-IP-Address/maxiomo
- You should see the page below:
- Key in your username and password and click on "Sign In" button.
2) Once you sign in, you will see the page like below:
3) On the left Start Center page, Click on New Person link.
4) Fill all the required fields.
5) After that click on the save button,
Step 2 - Create User account.
1) Click on the Start Center at the top right of the Maximo page.
2) Click on New User.
3) Fill in the User fields as the Person fields.
4) Click on Set Password fields.
5) The Set Password Screen will appear. Fill the password fields with desired password. Untick the "E-mail Password to User?" Fields. Then Click "OK" Button.
6) Click on "Save" button on the top of the screen.
7)Congratulation, you have finish create a new user.
You can also assign this new user to a new group if you want, by clicking group tab at the navigation tab.
